From the Viking Age to the future by bike
Guided tour in English
Head out amongst wide views and rolling fields and discover Lund and its surroundings in a new light by going back to the Viking Age. The tour starts at Lundagård and Drotten Church Ruins. From there you continue cycle to Uppåkra, Scandinavia's largest Iron Age settlement. After a strong cup of coffee the tour takes you back to Lund. There we will visit the Historical Museum at Lund University. Then the guided bike tour will take you from the city centre to Brunnshög in the northeast part of Lund. We will bike along the Science Road. In Brunnshög innovative energy solutions, research facilities and a sustainable meeting place will be realized. The tour ends in the center of Lund.
Age: Adults (up to 20 persons).
Start and conclusion: At Fridhems Cykelaffär, Bredgatan 32 in Lund.
Tickets: Tickets must be bought in advance, no later than July 5th. Bikes and helmets can be rented at 10.30 at Fridhems Cykelaffär. You can also use your own bike, if you would prefer. There will be an option for a coffee-break.
Included: Guided tour of Drotten Church Ruins, Uppåkra. Coffee-break at Uppåkra.
